Kayserman
Dr. Larisa Kayserman is a board-certified ophthalmologist and retinal specialist with over 30 years of experience in treating retinal diseases, including diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. She completed her M.D. at the State University of New York at Downstate Medical School and has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology since 1995.
Dr. Kayserman is affiliated with The Valley Hospital and Clara Maass Hospital in New Jersey, where she continues to provide advanced care for retinal conditions, drawing on her extensive expertise in the field.

Dr. Robert
Vallar
Dr. Robert V. Vallar is a board-certified ophthalmologist with expertise in retina-vitreous diseases and surgery. He earned his M.D. from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Nassau County Medical Center, New York, where he served as Chief Resident. He further specialized with a fellowship in Retina-Vitreous Diseases and Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Currently, Dr. Vallar serves as the Director of Ophthalmology at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey. He has been a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology since 1995, reflecting his commitment to staying current with advancements in the field and providing high-quality patient care.
Dr. Rony
Gelman
Dr. Rony Gelman is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal diseases. He joined the team in January 2019 after completing his ophthalmology residency and medical retina fellowship, funded by a Foundation Fighting Blindness Career Development Award. He further trained in surgical vitreoretinal fellowship at the University of Southern California.
His area of specialization includes the diagnosis and management of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), inherited retinal degenerations, diabetic retinopathy, vascular diseases of the retina, and retinal detachments. With a solid foundation in both clinical research and patient care, Dr. Gelman is dedicated to improving outcomes for patients facing retinal diseases and disorders.

Dr. Bradford
Liva
Dr. Bradford Liva, MD, is a seasoned ophthalmologist with a BA in Biology from Boston University and an M.D. from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara. He completed his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and a fellowship in retina-vitreo diseases at Baylor College of Medicine in 1985.
A member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology since 1991, Dr. Liva has also lectured on vitreo-retinal diseases and participated in Anti-VEGF clinical studies. His extensive experience and contributions make him a respected expert in the field.
Dr. SongEun
Lee
Dr. SongEun Lee, an accomplished ophthalmologist from Korea, completed her medical training at the University of Ulsan and earned a PhD in Visual Sciences. She completed her residency at the Asan Medical Center in Seoul and a Vitreoretinal Fellowship before moving to the U.S. to continue her training at Columbia University.
Dr. Lee is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists. She is affiliated with The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey, and Clara Maass Hospital in Belleville, New Jersey.

Arnett
Justin Arnett, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal specialist with advanced training in both the United States and internationally. With a clinical fellowship in Retina & Vitreous from the Shiley Eye Institute at UC San Diego, and a Master’s degree in Translational Medicine from UC Berkeley, Dr. Arnett combines exceptional academic accomplishments with advanced surgical expertise.
He has contributed to numerous medical device development projects and research in Brain-Computer Interfaces, in addition to conducting pioneering studies in ophthalmology. Dr. Arnett's academic training also includes a PhD-level education in Neurobiology from Harvard University. With a comprehensive background in both clinical and research settings, he brings unparalleled skill to his patient care.
